Virtual Educa Trinidad Forum 2014

Trinidad will be host to the Virtual Educa Forum from the 19-20 May 2014 at the Hyatt, Port-of-Spain. The forum is being hosted by the Ministry Of Education, Virtual Educa and OAS (Organisation Of American States). The forum aims to explore how ICT impacts on education. The forum will consist of exhibitions, conferences, seminars, workshops and presentations. According to an event press release Trinidad and Tobago has been a leader in the infusion of ICT into education with the distribution of laptops. Students will be exposed to the virtual classroom at the forum sponsored by Samsung and Blink/bMobile. 20 pilot virtual classrooms are expected to be rolled out to secondary and primary schools.
