Update (1 FEB 2014) : The app is in the app stores (Andorid, iOS). Go download and use. I found it easiest to use my facebook sign in. I then had to edit my profile using the browser UI. Make sure and change the default password that was given. When you use the app, share your thoughts with us in the comments below. Checkout this intro video.
Update (31 JAN 2014) : I got a preview of the app (which I believe launches in the app stores tomorrow). Below are a few screenshots.
F1RST team at soft launch. Photo courtesy f1rstt.com fb page.
F1RST is a recently unveiled social networking site created for Trinidad and the region. I was invited to the soft launch but couldn't make it. I am impressed by the quality of their website, graphics, launch video, photos and their entire web presence. Congrats to the team on their efforts. The purpose of the website/app is to connect businesses, places, people, friends and everyone in a similar way that other popular social networking websites do like foursquare. In my opinion, what will set this service apart from others is the ability to tailor it to local needs. A full launch of the website only takes place when they have reached 100000 sign ups, so head over to their website and sign up. Please share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
