Visual Studio jQuery Problem

I am encountering an interesting problem using jQuery in Visual Studio. Visual Studio uses an internal web server called Cassini for previewing and debugging websites. I added some jQuery code to add a datepicker to my app. I made some changes to the code and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why the code was not working. Eventually I removed the code and realised that the datepicker was still showing. This meant that code changes were not being reflected and it was still looking at the old code. Could it be a caching issue? I'm not sure. What I know is that I have to restart Visual Studio to get jQuery code changes to show.

This is the code

  1. Disable caching in the browser. Clearing the cache usually sorts out the problem for me.
